Let’s know about Google Bard

Everyone is eager to know about the possibility of artificial intelligence at the moment and especially after the introduction of ChatGPT by OpenAI. Microsoft is going to integrate ChatGPT into their Office 365 as well as Bing Search. Google has also revealed its AI-powered chatbot named Bard. However, it may not be easy to know all about these new tools.

Google utilises AI to get an understanding of colloquial language and offers quality service with Google Assistant and Google Lens. Now, you may be trying to wrap your head around the Bard and how it is different from others. The highlight of the Bard is its conversationality and answerability.

What is Bard and From Where It Originates
Experts look at Bard as generative AI. It is a generic name for AI models such as DALL-E and ChatGPT that are being used for creating new content. Generative AI is capable of creating audio, video and imagery. Since Bard is a chatbot, it concentrates on text creation. On the occasion, you may get answers in a conversational and natural way.

However, you can describe Bard as an LLM or Large Language Model. It is a network that allows one to gather a lot of text. AI also teaches how one can utilise natural language. Training data may limit the result to some extent. For this reason, ChatGPT believes that everyone is in 2021 still now. Similar issues may be observed with the Bard also. However, it may able to tackle the issue by utilising the Google Search Integration. Google Search offers data on current issues to help the AI further.

Looking at the timing of releasing Bard, one may think that it has rushed to compete with ChatGPT. However, Google has started to lay its foundation for AI and LLM from the year 2017. Bard uses Google’s Language Model for Dialogue Application (LaMDA) which has been introduced in the year 2021. A new tool from OpenAi also uses LaMDA similar to Google’s AI. However, Google has taken more time to develop Bard.

How Bard Works

Powered by LaMDA, Bard uses conversational Large Language Models or LLMs. It enables the machines to chat with the human easily. LaMDA has a transformative architecture that weighs input based on its relevance. It enables the AI to note down the context that comes with relevant information. The conversational method of text makes it look pleasant and natural.

LLMs use more than 137 billion parameters. Google’s Bard has trained itself based on 1.5 trillion words that are collected through public dialogue data and web text. Compared to Chat GPT and other AI-based chatbots, Google’s Bard is still in its nascent stage.

Bard is capable of drawing inputs from the internet. Therefore, it can easily obtain the latest information. However, people using the AI chatbot have pointed out that it offers inaccurate information sometimes.

Bard Enables You to Write in Different Genres

Google Bard is capable of writing in different genres such as fiction, poetry and screenwriting. One of the reasons to use Bard for writing poetry is its rhythmical pattern and structure. It is a unique thing coming out of a chatbot. It can save money and also inspire them to do better work.

However, one thing you must remember is that Bard can provide you only inspiration to write poetry. It does not have the power to replace your creativity and emotional depth.

Can AI Substitute Creativity?

AI Tools such as Bard do not have the power to replace creativity. However, it can create an enormous societal effect if you rely too much on AI-generated content. Widespread AI -content can lead to a decrease in the requirement for creative content generated by humans. It may create economic consequences. It is better to remember the fact that AI content lacks diversity and creativity. Material generated through Bard must be looked at cautiously for accuracy and originality.
